Our Services
Each Sunday we meet together to worship God and have fellowship together. We follow a monthly pattern of services across our 4 locations. We also have a mid week communion service at Holy Trinity church in the centre of Holmfirth.

An informal service where all ages come together to worship, learn and engage with each other, with opportunities to be creative, explore faith and experience prayer in different ways. Usually lasts for about 1 hour.

A bi-monthly opportunity to learn and grow together in God’s great outdoors (suitable for all ages).
Next session: Sun 19 July 2.30pm in Meltham
Takes place at various outdoor locations around the Holme Valley from 2.30pm - 4.00pm. Contact us for more information and to be added to the Wild Church WhatsApp group.

Using Common Worship liturgy, usually with organ music, services vary between traditional hymns and sometimes a mix with more modern songs. We welcome all baptised Christians to receive communion.

Through simplicity, silence and meditative music, this communion service seeks to draw us into a deeper awareness of Christ’s presence.

An informal service including contemporary music led by our worship group. We typically have communion once each quarter.

A bi-monthly informal service that includes crafts and activities for all ages. This rotates round our four churches. Usually lasts about 1.5 hrs.

This “Service of the Word” is centered around the reading and preaching of Scripture, communal prayers and music.
Midweek Communion
An informal Celtic style communion service takes place on Wednesdays at Holy Trinity Church in the centre of Holmfirth. Come along from 12pm -12.45pm to spend some gentle quiet time away from the busyness of the world.

Children in Church
St David’s Church in Holmbridge is the hub for most of our children’s work.
We run Junior Church sessions on 2nd, 3rd and 4th Sundays for children aged 4-14 years old. Everyone starts in the church service before the children head off to hear Bible stories, play games and get creative in their own space.
Worship Together is held on the 1st Sunday of the month and encourages adults and children to come together for a creative intergenerational style of worship.
For children under 4 there is a creche space with age appropriate toys and books and space to feed your baby. We have changing facilities too. Little ones must be accompanied at all times by their responsible adult.
