Alexandra Glew

Alexandra’s exhibition comprises a series of expressive abstract works that explore the sensory experience of moving through local landscapes, each piece functions as a kind of intuitive, visual field recording. Rather than depicting landscape directly, the works translate sensations, observations and fragments of connections through texture and colour, shape and mark.

The exhibition celebrates slowness, attention, and the subtle emotional aspects found in everyday kind of encounters with nature. Through repetition, mark‐making, and delicate layering, the paintings create a contemporary meditation on connection, movement, and the places we experience and explore, alone and together.

Ethan Scorer

Ethan’s exhibition brings together a number of paintings that explore the interplay between creation and self-erasure. When creating a piece, Ethan will always try to remove any trace of his own hand or applicator as much as possible.

Ethan feels a painting is complete when it looks as if it has naturally emerged, or has been removed from nature and translated elsewhere. He sees each painting as a meditative space for the viewer to exist within. The colours and shapes evoke something familiar or known, yet ultimately unknowable.
